I am not what you would call the best battler in the world, but this is my recommended moveset for your Feraligatr/Swampert team if you want to get the most versatility out of them.Fighting against water types could be tricky, especially Pokemon like Chinchou’s line, Quagsire, Whiscash, etc. A lot of types are covered with these moves, though. Good luck. If any of my followers can think of better strategies, feel free to let me know.

Breed a Feraligatr so it gets Dragon Dance, give it Waterfall, Ice Punch, and Crunch if you’re running it in Doubles since EQ hits everyone including your ally.Swampert also has a good moveset with Rain Dance, Ice Punch, Waterfall, and Stone Edge - I’ve omitted Earthquake since you’ll be hurting your ally as well but if you want to put it you can replace Stone Edge for it. RD doesn’t really suit it either but it’s bulky enough to at least get one off to help out Gatr since Gatr’s gonna be pulling most of the weight in this duo and Swampert’s just there to help out with the other Pokemon.Having two Waters out on the field is kind of a bad idea, but if you really wanna do it I would recommend two that really spot each other like Swampert and Rotom-W, Rotom levitates and is immune to Swampert’s EQ, is a Special Attacker, and has access to Thunder which gets 100% accuracy once Swampert gets the rain up. Thunder also has a 30% chance to paralyze the opponent, making them slow enough for Swampert to hit first.

Is Ditto a failed Mew experiment?

lauragierlich:

murphuso:

Mew and Ditto both weigh 8.8 lbs.
They have the same sprite color scheme, with the same shinies.
They both can learn every move, though in Ditto’s case for a certain period.
They both learn Transform.
Many Ditto can be found in Cinnabar Mansion where many experiments took place between Mew and Mewtwo.

This is an amazing observation.

Let’s also stack on that Ditto can also be found in the Unknown Dungeon (Cerulean Cave for some of you newer players) where Mewtwo is, so perhaps Ditto is attracted to members of its own genetic structure?
